Physicians (MD, DO, MBBS, MBBCH, etc.) outside the United States and Canada who have an interest in occupational and/or environmental medicine are eligible to apply for
International Physician Membership.
Non-physicians outside the United States who have attained the doctorate level degree of PhD, ScD, DrPH, EdD, etc., in an occupational and environmental health discipline, a master’s level degree or other advanced training in a related field, or are a certified Physician Assistant, licensed Nurse Practitioner, or equivalent, are eligible to apply for
International Associate Membership.
Terms
Membership is valid for 12 months from the date the application is processed. International Physician Members are not eligible to vote in ACOEM elections. To become voting members, International Physician Members may upgrade their membership to an ACOEM Active Physician Member at the full dues rate. Once upgraded, members may not reapply for International Physician Membership. International Associate Members are not eligible to vote.

International Component Society of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ICSOEM)
Society of ACOEM International members which provides additional programming, resources, networking, and leadership opportunities. Component membership is required per ACOEM bylaws and is an annual USD $45 investment.
ICSOEM, established May 2021, will hold its inaugural business meeting in March 2022. Members will have the opportunity to be directly involved in the development of annual programming, goals, and objectives which support their career needs and growth.

ACOEM’s International Membership dues are based on your country of residence income group category as defined by the World Bank. International Component Society of OEM dues are an additional USD $45.
