Component Societies
Component societies are a great way to get involved with the College on a regional level through networking, legislative advocacy, continuing medical education (CME) sessions, and conferences. Per the ACOEM Bylaws, all ACOEM members must also be a member of a component society.
Component Communities on the ACOEM Connect
Component societies provide an excellent way for members to keep up to date on developments in the field and network with other local-area health professionals. Each component society has its own community space to:
- Post documents and information pertinent to its membership
- Discuss local issues and events in an open environment
- Connect with other members and leaders
To access your component community, log in to the member portal, ACOEM Connect, and click “My Groups.”
Questions? Contact ACOEM Customer Service at 847-818-1800, or email
custinfo@acoem.org.
Following is a list of local component societies to help you identify the organization in your area.
When joining ACOEM, you'll be provided the opportunity to choose the component society most convenient for you. All ACOEM members are eligible to join any component society.
