Council Charges


Supports the College's vision, mission, strategic plan, and principles of justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion.  

As directed by or with approval of the President, Board, or Executive Committee, drafts communications to federal agencies regarding proposed legislation and/or regulation at the federal level that impacts OEM or ACOEM.

Identifies and addresses emerging legislative issues and controversies of importance to OEM practice.

Monitors international occupational health policy issues to maintain mutually supportive relationships from a policy perspective.

Develops or prepares public positions for review and approval of the ACOEM Executive Committee.
