Council Charges


Supports the College's vision, mission, strategic plan, and principles of justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion.  

Evaluates and selects ACOEM-sponsored educational activities.

Curating content and developing educational opportunities related to OEM.

Provides general direction for long-term curriculum planning for:
     a)  Annual conference
     b)  Live Courses
     c)  Distance education
     d)  Other education programs and products

Collaborates with residency program directors on appropriate content in development of educational products.

Complies with stated deadlines and requirements for compliance with ACCME criteria. 

Develops or prepares public positions for review and approval of the ACOEM Executive Committee.
