The American Occupational Health Conference (AOHC) is the premier professional meeting for physicians and other health professionals who have an interest in the fields of occupational and environmental medicine (OEM). Join us for a wine tasting and presentation by a sommelier from Bouchaine Vineyards, the oldest continuously operating winery in Carneros, a region located on the southern tip of Napa Valley. Unwind with a glass of wine and listen to an expert sommelier, while enjoying a view of the beautiful estate vineyards. During this live 50 minute presentation, learn more about how to taste wine and which wine to choose with certain food. Included in the price of $125.00 is two 750ml bottles of wine - one Estate Chardonnay and one Estate Pinot Noir - shipped to your home in advance of the event. By registering for this event, you are confirming that you are at least 21 years of age. Capacity is limited to 100 people.

Sappington and Patterson Lecturers Announced
May 2, 2021 – Patterson Lecturer: Earl Dotter
Earl Dotter is the author of the book and exhibit LIFE’S WORK, A Fifty-Year Photographic Chronicle of Working in the U.S.A.
, and will present this exhibit at AOHC Virtual 2021. Dotter has been a Visiting Scholar at the Harvard School of Public Health since 1998, and is the recipient of several accolades including an Alicia Patterson Foundation Fellowship to document commercial fishing hazards, and APHA’s Alice Hamilton Award for photographing the rescue recovery effort at Ground Zero.
May 5, 2021 – Sappington Lecturer: Michael T. Osterholm, PhD, MPH
Dr. Osterholm will present at AOHC Virtual 2021. He holds several distinguished positions including Regents Professor, McKnight Presidential Endowed Chair in Public Health, all at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Osterholm authored the best-selling 2017 book, Deadliest Enemy: Our War Against Killer Germs
, which details the most pressing infectious disease threats and lays out a nine-point strategy on how to address them. He has been appointed to President Joe Biden’s 13-member Transition COVID-19 Advisory Board and is a frequent guest lecturer on the epidemiology of infectious diseases.
