ACOEM offers many different engagement opportunities. Participation in these activities is truly rewarding and provides a great way to connect with your peers.

We encourage and welcome your involvement and will be happy to assist in your career development and advancement in the ACOEM community.

ACOEM Special Interest Sections

Produce documents or guidelines that are useful in the field, network with other members, and remain up-to-date on issues of relevance. To become involved with your section(s), contact the leadership for each individual group. Leadership names and contact information is available on the community page for each individual group.

Component Societies

Strengthen the College through networking, legislative advocacy, CME sessions and conferences, and more. To become involved with your component society, contact the leadership for each individual society. 

House of Delegates

The House of Delegates is ACOEM’s legislative branch, making recommendations to the ACOEM Board of Directors concerning policy matters affecting the College.  A call for House Recorder is open year-round, a Recorder Election is held at the Fall House Meeting.  

Committees and Councils 

Serve a major role in preparing statements and policies as well as managing important functions including bylaws and ethics. 

Fellowship

Achieve the highest classification of membership and meet the requirement for leadership positions such as committee chair or officer.

Board of Directors

Guide the mission and activities of the College Leadership in ACOEM. A Call for Board of Director Nominees is announced every January.
