Function-Responsibility-Objective
This Section is established as a forum to share information and discuss areas of mutual concern and interest among members who serve on active duty in the Army, Navy, Air Force or Public Health Service. All ACOEM members who have an interest in Federal and Military Service are welcome to join, and these members add significantly to the strength of our section. The FMOEM Section will bring to the attention of ACOEM any military issues, which may impact the practice of occupational and environmental medicine, and when appropriate, solicit advice or action from the ACOEM Board of Directors on such issues. Additionally, the section will increase the awareness of FMOEM among military physicians and provide ACOEM a recruiting forum in this population. The FMOEM Section will serve as an expert resource to ACOEM on topics in FMOEM.
