Function-Responsibility-Objective
The ACOEM Section on Environmental Health is composed of members with research, clinical, consulting, or policy interests in this expanding and changing health arena. As environmental exposures differ from occupational exposures in that they impact all segments of the population, the mission of the Section on Environmental Health is to provide a forum for ACOEM members to facilitate their interest in and to develop actions for addressing environmental health issues. In addition, the Section will conduct educational activities to address environmental health issues, and will coordinate, where appropriate, its activities with other environmental health organizations and government agencies such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
Highlighted Activities
- Hold annual in-person section meeting and dinner at AOHC.
- Hold teleconferences as needed.
